These images were donated to Acocks Green library by Mrs Doris Worrall. Most of them show a Passion Play performed in the church during the 1930s. If anyone can identify more individuals or give more details about the Passion Play, we would be pleased to hear from them.

Sale of work, 1938

A sale of work, July 1938. In the back row are Rev. F. E. Compton, Mrs Wood. Rev. P. J. Kelly, Mrs Tardan, Mr Nicols and Rev. B. P. Evans. In the front row are Mrs P. J. Kelly, Mrs A. W. Adams, Miss Burrows, and Mrs Nicols. The girl in front is Miss Brown.

The lady on the left with the child is Sarah Nokes (thanks to Michael Allbrook)

Michael Allbrook sent us this photo. Sarah Nokes is front left, and Mary Walker is in the middle, front row. This may well have dated from the 1930s.
